Raymond Theatre: An Historic Venue
Conveniently located in downtown Raymond, Washington, at the mouth of the Willapa River. Whether you’re in Pacific County or Grays Harbor County along the Cranberry Coast, it’s worth the short, scenic drive to Raymond to take in a movie, enjoy live music or see local theatrical production. Most days there’s something exciting happening here, but the building alone is a worth a stop.
The Raymond Theatre opened in 1928, with a showing of the silent movie The Jazz Singer. In fact, you can still catch a silent movie here today, along with an assortment of first-run films. The elegant building is completely restored and improved, boasting a Dobly sound system, a wide screen, comfortable seating and tasty concessions.
